Homework Support and tuition
A2Z Learning Centre has a Homework Support Club, which allows your child to work in a supportive, relaxed environment.
The Homework Support Club gives your children the chance to receive instant assistance in core curriculum subjects. Our qualified staff will give them 1-2-1 guidance and support they need to understand any subject areas they are struggling with, and help them to complete the homework on time, that has been set by the school.
Our Homework Support Club sessions help children to develop a structured approach to completing their homework. Our teachers educate students to organise, plan and prioritise their work and to manage their time effectively.
Reading
It is undeniable that a child’s reading skills are important to their success in school, work, and life in general.
At A2Z Learning Centre we know how important reading is for children to be successful, which is why we have a dedicated reading area where children have a wide choice of fictional and non-fictional books. We also actively encourage at least 20 minutes of reading on a daily basis, and our staff believe in reading out loud as this is one of the easiest ways to help a child with cognitive, communication and thinking skills.
Board Games
From improved concentration to creative development, children are enriched with various skills while playing board games.
At A2Z Learning Centre we have a dedicated area with a variety of mind-stimulating board games; this provides a unique opportunity for your children to develop their concentration, interaction skills and most importantly team work and friendship building.
Arts and Crafts
At A2Z Learning Centre we have allocated an area to arts and crafts allowing children to be creative, expressive and imaginative. The Arts and Craft area is a free play zone which encourages your children to explore and learn through messy play.
PC Suite
At A2Z Learning Centre we offer computer facilities for children. The suite can be used to help children complete their homework, research information and have fun. Technology is now the way forward and our PC suite allows your children to learn, play and grow a skill that will stay with them for life.
